Up to 4 000 people in Zemo Svaneti will be tested for coronavirus, the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), Amiran Gamkrelidze told Georgian First Channel.

Gamkrelidze noted that the results will lead to an action plan, including restrictive measures.

“We have almost finished the testing in the village of Lenjeri. Also, about 4,000 people, including tourists in Mestia, Ushguli and several other villages will be tested,” said Gamkrelidze.
