The Political Board of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) will make a decision on taking up MP mandates in several days, said UNM member Khatia Dekanoidze.

According to Khatia Dekanoidze, her personal decision was in favor of UNM’s becoming engaged in the parliamentary work.

“I understand that the future plans and the strategy of the biggest opposition party are important because the issue has to do not only with entering the parliament but with the regime’s defeat,” Dekanoidze said.

Chairman of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party, Nika Melia, returned from Ukraine earlier on Saturday. UNM Chair said he would inform about the party’s decision on becoming engaged in the parliamentary work in 10 days.

On May 14, Nika Melia, Chairman of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) party said he planned to communicate with locals of different regions of Georgia before making the final decision about the UNM’s engagement in the parliamentary work.
