UNM member: National Movement should be represented in parliament

The United National Movement (UNM) party should be represented in the parliament. The Georgian Dream must not be left alone on any political field, said UNM member, Petre Tsiskarishvili.

According to Tsiskarishvili, UNM Chair Nika Melia will announce the decision about taking up MP seats on Sunday, May 30, after the party’s Political Board meeting.

Tsiskarishvili said the party discussed the issue and held meetings with party supporters and public representatives.

“The communication showed that the majority, among them our supporters, back the standpoint that the National Movement should not be a non-parliamentary opposition party,” Petre Tsiskarishvili said.
