The UNDP Resident Representative in Georgia Louisa Vinton hopes the process of lifetime appointment of judges will be implemented transparently in Georgia.

Louisa Vinton praises the fact that civil activity is very high in this process. “As you know, Georgia has moved to the system of parliamentary democracy. This process has taken place just now and perhaps this will be one of the first tests for the Parliament of Georgia.

It is also very pleased to see that civic activity and public interest, in this case, are very high and we look forward to witnessing a transparent process, which will be implemented in full compliance with rules, regulations and law,” the UNDP Resident Representative told reporters.
