UK reports 771 new cases of COVID-19, 74 deaths

The UK government reports 74 new deaths of coronavirus and 771 new cases of the novel virus in the last 24 hours.

In total, the UK’s COVID-19-related death toll stands at 46 193. More than 303 000 people diagnosed with the coronavirus since the outbreak.

Office for National Statistics published different figures. According to them, in total,  54 000 people died of the virus in the UK.
