Tbilisi may host the prestigious tournament Europa League final – UEFA official website has released the regarding information today.

UEFA has published a list of candidate cities for hosting the 2021 tournament final matches.

UEFA has received declarations of interest from 11 member associations to host UEFA club competition finals in 2021. The declarations of interest are not binding and the final proposals will have to be delivered with the bid dossiers by 15 February 2019. The UEFA Executive Committee will select the successful host associations at a meeting which is scheduled to take place in May or June 2019.

The bidding procedure for the selection of the venues to host the 2021 UEFA club competition finals, was launched on 28 September 2018, with a 26 October deadline set for associations to express their interest.

The list of interested bidders is as follows:

Germany, Munich, Arena München

Russia, St Petersburg, Saint Petersburg Stadium

UEFA Europa League

Austria, Vienna, Ernst Happel Stadium

Georgia, Tbilisi, Boris Paichadze Erovnuli Stadioni – Dinamo Arena

Spain, Sevilla, venue to be confirmed

UEFA Super Cup

Belarus Minsk Dinamo Stadium

Finland, Helsinki, Helsinki Olympic Stadium

Northern Ireland. Belfast, National Football Stadium Windsor Park

Ukraine, Kharkiv, OSK Metalist

UEFA Women’s Champions League

Czech Republic, Prague, Eden Arena

Sweden, Gothenburg, Gamla Ullevi

“Dinamo Arena” hosted the main European tournament final in 2015, when “Barcelona” defeated “Sevilla” 5:4.
