United States President Donald Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday to say that progress towards the development of a coronavirus vaccine is going faster than expected and that “good news” on the matter will come soon.

“Vaccines are coming along really well. Likewise therapeutics. Moving faster than anticipated. Good news ahead (in many ways)!” Trump said, as reported by TeleTrader Public Web Station.

Earlier, Sanofi said it intends to complete human trials of its COVID-19 vaccine candidate by the end of the year.
