“Two Chinese children transferred from Kazbegi region of Georgia to Tbilisi Infectious Hospital have type A influenza,” Director of the National Centre for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) of Georgia Amiran Gamkrelidze stated.

Herein, Gamkrelidze noted that Georgian citizen flew from Beijing earlier today has body temperature. The patient is placed in isolation for further examination.

Director of NCDC added that one more Georgian citizen came from China has fever and symptoms of the respiratory infection.

Amiran Gamkrelidze calls on the public “not to panic as there is no reason for it.”
