Turkey tightens border crossing rules with Georgia as a precautionary measure against the spread of the coronavirus, the Turkish Consulate in Georgia said in a statement published on its Facebook page today.

According to the statement, drivers of the trucks will have to present their passports when crossing the border.

As statement notes, those citizens, who have traveled to China, Iran, South Korea and Italy during the last 21 days, are not allowed to enter Georgia. It notes that these rules can be changed.
