Turkey cancels a two-day weekend curfew

The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan cancelled an earlier decision to impose a two-day weekend curfew in 15 of the country’s provinces.

Erdogan said on Twitter that the curfew would “lead to different social and economic consequences.”

Turkey reported 167 000 coronavirus cases so far. 4,630 patients died of the novel virus.
