Tskhinvali occupation regime releases unlawfully detained Georgian

Georgian citizen Lasha Khetereli, unlawfully detained by the Russian occupation forces, has been released, the State Security Service reported on Thursday.

The Georgian side actively communicated through the hotline over the issue. EUMM was involved in the process.

“The Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) and the Geneva International Discussions addressed the issue,” the State Security Service said in a statement.
