Three helicopters are involved in fire-extinguishing works near Akhalsopeli village, Kvareli district of eastern Kakheti region.

Temur Mghebrishvili, Head of Emergency Situations Management Service heads the emergency headquarters established for liquidation of the fire.

As a journalist of Georgian First Channel reports, extinguishing of the fire became difficult due to difficult relief and strong wind. However, as Emergency Situations Management Service says, the situation is under control at the site.
