Tension flares during Rugby Union presidential elections

The Rugby Union presidential elections are underway at Expo Georgia in the capital Tbilisi.
Tension raised as the candidate Soso Tkemaladze entered the building. Former candidate Irakli Abuseridze’s supporters broke the police cordon and tried to enter the hallway but the police did not let them.
For the record, only one candidate Soso Tkemaladze is running for the elections. Abuseridze who won the elections on December 30, 2020, was not recognized by the National Registry Office. He has been boycotting the elections.
