Tea Tsulukiani offers Denmark to recognize Georgia as safe country

Tea Tsulukiani, Georgian Justice Minister held face-to-face meetings with her colleagues within the framework of Council of Europe Ministerial in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Tsulukiai met with her counterpart from Denmark and talked about Georgia’s visa-free regime with EU. She underlined that the number of Georgian citizens, who violated visa-free travel rules was small.

Georgian Justice Minister offered Denmark to recognize Georgia as safe country where citizens were not persecuted and freedom of expression and other liberties were protected.

An international conference was held in Denmark’s capital dedicated to the challenges of Human Rights European Convention. Ministers from 22 countries participated in the conference.
