Tbilisi Mayor – Increase of coefficients and selling of K-2 Coefficient will be prohibited

The increase of coefficients and selling of K-2 Coefficient will be prohibited – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said when commenting about the decision of Tbilisi City Hall and the majority of Sakrebulo (City Assembly).

“Our objective is to create proper development conditions to Tbilisi in line with the parameters set as per Tbilisi Land Use General Plan. The practice introduced after 2005 contributed to chaotic constructions and making the city look ugly,” Kaladze said.

Tbilisi Mayor explained that solving problems accumulated during many years is possible through taking radical decisions. Therefore, manipulation with K-2 Coefficient became essential on a legislative level.

Kaladze also thanked specialists and representatives of the construction sector involved in the consultations.
