Tbilisi leading in fDi’s rating of European Cities and Regions of the Future 2020/2021

Fdi Intelligence, the well-known publication that provides analysis and data about investment and economic development in different European cities and regions put Tbilisi first on the list of its rating of European Cities and Regions of the Future 2020/2021 in the category of Cost Effectiveness.

Minsk, Sofia, Bucharest and Kyiv are also leading in the same category. London, Paris, Warsaw, Madrid, Amsterdam and Dublin are leading in other categories of the same rating.

The authors of the rating Data was collected for 505 locations (319 cities, 148 regions and 38 LEPs), under five categories: Economic Potential, Human Capital and Lifestyle, Cost Effectiveness, Connectivity and Business Friendliness.

Locations scored up to a maximum of 10 points for each data point, which were weighted by importance to the FDI decision-making process in order to compile the subcategory rankings as well as the overall ‘European Cities and Regions of the Future 2020/21’ ranking.
