Tbilisi City Hall to increase financing of liver transplantation up to 70 thousand GEL

Tbilisi City Hall will increase financing of liver transplantation from 60 thousand to 70 thousand GEL within the framework of Transplantation Program – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said during the city governmental sitting.

Kaladze underlined that financing of liver transplantation surgery was one of the election promises and Tbilisi City Hall already financed operations of 10 patients during one year.

Tbilisi Mayor said that those patients, who have lived and have been registered in Tbilisi for the last 1 year, will receive the financing. “We are ready to support people in need but I wish that nobody ever needs such a surgery,” Kaladze claimed.
