Tailback at Sarpi customs checkpoint reaches 4km

Tailback at Sarpi customs checkpoint that is located in the south-west of Georgia on the border with Turkey reaches 4km. As CNN Turk reports, vehicles are stuck in two points, including Hopa and Kemal Pasha.

The Turkish government claims that tailback is caused by the hindered procedures from the Georgian side.

CNN Turk adds that the delay is due to the New Year and Christmas.

Turkish media explains that the Turkish government is in constant contact with Georgian customs officers and the problem will be solved soon.
