Strasbourg court recognized complaints filed against Georgia as inadmissible

Strasbourg court has recognized the complaints filed against Georgia in connection with the 2008 war as inadmissible, – the Ministry of Justice has released the regarding information.

According to Ministry, today, the Strasbourg Court has released three rulings on the following cases -“Jioeva and others against Georgia”,  “Kudukhova against Georgia”, “Nanieva and Bagaev against Georgia”. The applicants (citizens residing in Tskhinvali region) claimed that during the August 2008 war due to the activities of Georgian side their lives were in danger and their property was damaged or destroyed.

According to the Ministry, the European Court of Human Rights declared the above-mentioned complaints inadmissible as considered them ill-founded.
