State Security Service – Statement of occupation regime is misinformation

The statement of the Tskhinvali region’s occupation regime represents false accusations compiled against Doctor Vazha Gaprindashvili and represents misinformation – The State Security Service of Georgia said.

“Any activity carried out into Vazha Gaprindashvili’s case by occupational forces are illegal and have no legal grounds,” Security Service said.

According to Security Service, the Georgian central government is actively working for the release of Vazha Gaprindashvili from illegal imprisonment and that the EUMM and co-chairs of Geneva International Discussions are involved in the process.

The so-called Security Committee of occupied Tskhinvali region said in a statement that pressure regarding the detention of Georgian Doctor Vazha Gaprinashvii ‘has no perspective.’
