State Security Service – Nobody will be given opportunity to organize destabilization

“Nobody will be given the opportunity to organize destabilization in the country,” Nino Giorgobiani, Head of Public Relations Department of State Security Service stated.

According to Giorgobiani, the main priority of Security Service is to ensure security of citizens and provision of democratic election environment.

“We have been receiving operative signals lately that violent provocations were planned in public places. These attempts have been averted. Preventive measures continue in coordination with Ministry of Internal Affairs,” Giorgobiani said.

Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs made a statement for journalists on October 18 about possible destabilization in the country.
