Special vehicles dispatched to Sakire village territory

Special vehicles have been dispatched to the territory of Sakire village of Borjomi Municipality where fire is raging.

Ilia Shavtetrishvili, Head of Akhaltsikhe Emergency Situations Management Service told a journalist of First Channel that tractors will assist firefighters and rescuers in cleaning of the road.

The fire area is not increased and there is no threat of its spread to the populated places. Firefighters and rescuers from the Borjomi, Tbilisi and Samtskhe-Javakheti region are working at the disaster site.

The fire broke out in Sakire village late on April 30. The fire is on the relief difficult to access. Bushes and dry wood are burning.
