Socially vulnerable citizens, pensioners, veterans, people with disabilities, single parents will be exempted from administrative monetary penalties

The Government of Georgia has approved the draft law submitted by the First Deputy Minister of Justice Mikheil Sarjveladze, which envisages exemption from administrative monetary penalties of socially vulnerable citizens, pensioners, war and armed forces veterans, people with disabilities, single parents and their families.

According to the draft approved at today’s Government meeting, citizens will be exempt from up to 22 million GEL in administrative monetary penalties. Those having committed administrative offenses prior to January 15, 2019 will be eligible for exemption from administrative monetary penalties.

The draft law will be submitted to the Parliament for consideration.
