Shooting of American action film at Rustaveli Avenue – Photo Story

The shooting of one of the episodes of the American action film “Fast and Furious 9” directed by Justin Lin, is ongoing at central Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.
The movement will be blocked from Rustaveli Subway Station and former Post Building to Freedom Square starting August 27 to September 1.
Aleksandre Chavchavadze, Laghidze, Besiki, Ukrainka, April 9, Meskhia, Vaso Abashidze, Chanturia, Jorjadze, and Purtseladze Streets will be also closed for traffic.
According to Tbilisi City Hall, pedestrians will be able to move freely across the section of the central road from 21:00 till 07:00.
The routes of municipal transport will be changed. The shooting team worked at Vazha Pshavela Avenue during the previous 2 weeks.
