Polish Sejm adopted resolution on 10th Anniversary of the Russia’s Aggression against Georgia

The Sejm of the Republic of Poland adopted a resolution on the 10th anniversary of Russia’s military aggression against the independent Georgian state, – Marek Kuchciński, Marshal of the Polish Sejm stated during the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani.

Marshal of the Sejm handed over the resolution to the Minister and emphasized support from Poland toward Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The bilateral meeting was also held with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The sides spoke about the positive dynamics of bilateral relations and the importance of the resolution adopted by the Sejm during the joint press conference.

“The Sejm of the Republic of Poland is opposed to any and all actions, the aim of which is to interfere in the sovereign right of the Tbilisi government to exercise rule over the territory of Georgia, and firmly condemns murder, kidnapping, the use torture and other acts of violence towards Georgian citizens on the occupied lands”, – reads the resolution adopted by Sejm of the Republic of Poland.
