Second day of Thai cave rescue operation ended - eight boys now freed

The second day of rescue operation in Thailand ended, four more children were taken out of the cave today – bringing the total number rescued to eight.

The source within the rescue mission headquarters confirmed the information to Guardian.

Four boys and their coach are still trapped in the cave.

Four children were brought out from the flooded cave yesterday. Their health condition is satisfactory. Boys are placed at the hospital.

The soccer team and their coach set out to explore the vast Tham Luang cave complex after soccer practice on June 23, and got trapped when a rainy season downpour flooded the tunnels. British divers found the 13, huddled on a muddy bank in a partly flooded chamber several kilometers inside the complex, on Monday last week.
