Salome Zurabishvili to pay visit to Japan

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili left for Japan on a working visit.

According to President’s Press Office,  in Tokyo, Salome Zurabishvili, along with heads of state and other dignitaries, will attend the enthronement ceremony of Japanese Emperor Naruhito.

Within the visit, meetings are planned between the President of Georgia and senior officials of Japan, as well as bilateral meetings with leaders of different countries, in particular, Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen and Armenian President Armen Sarkissian.

Salome Zurabishvili will hold a meeting with the Georgian diaspora in Japan. President will also meet with the famous athlete Levan Gorgadze-Tochinoshin.

The President of Georgia will complete her working visit to Japan on October 25.
