Salome Zurabishvili plans to hold her first visit to European countries with the rank of the President of Georgia, – Zurabishvili told the journalists after the meeting with the Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II.
As Zurabishvili noted, she will visit Brussels, Berlin, as well as Paris.
“Nobody will be surprised that my first visit will be held in Europe, in particular, Brussels, Berlin, Paris and Baltic states, to the country whose female president was the first who congratulated me on winning the elections last night,” – Salome Zurabishvili said.
According to data of Central Election Commission, Salome Zurabishvili, an independent presidential candidate supported by the ruling Georgian Dream Party, wins the presidential elections of Georgia 59,52% of votes. The second round of 2018 presidential elections was held in Georgia on November 28.
