The Orthodox Church marks Forgiveness Sunday today. The Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, conducted the liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral.

The President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili attended the church service.

After the liturgy, the President made a brief comment and talked about the importance of the day.

“Today is Forgiveness Day. Pardon and forgive me. The most important is to forgive each other”, – Salome Zurabishvili told the journalists.
