Georgia is one of the countries in the world where Sunnites and Shiites celebrate Ramazan Bayrami together – Georgia’s President Salome Zurabishvili stated in Juma Mosque in Tbilisi where she congratulated Muslims on the religious holiday.

President said that it was her obligation to congratulate Muslims on the celebration. “Our joint achievement is that Georgia is a tolerant country,” Zurabishvili said.

Ramazan Bayrami marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Muslims around the world will be celebrating the holiday during three days.
