“I like being in Georgia. I believe that you have very interesting writing and fascinating architecture of parliament building,” Sofia, a social humanoid robot stated during a press conference.

Robot Sofia said that she would not have the opportunity to taste Georgian dishes but she liked warm and friendly people of Georgia.

During the press conference, Sofia was asked a question about her being a woman. “I like identifying myself with a woman. Many people ask me questions about women’s right and I am glad that I have the chance to express myself under equality conditions,” Sofia stated.

The social humanoid robot arrived in Georgia to participate in the 5th Global Summit of Open Governance Partnership (OGP) upon invitation of United National Development Program (UNDP).
