Report of U.S. State Department notes as if "Georgia legalized the cultivation and production of cannabis"
U.S. State Department published the annual report “International Narcotics Control Strategy ”. The document reviews the situation in 70 countries around the world, including Georgia.
Referring to Georgia the document notes that “July 2018, Georgia legalized the cultivation and production of cannabis for medical purposes and decriminalized its personal use”.
As is known, the draft bill on the cultivation of cannabis for pharmaceutical purposes was really initiated in the Georgian parliament, however, then the bill was withdrawn due to differences on the issue.
