Rehearsal of ceremony to be dedicated to Independence Day held at Freedom Square (Video)

The Georgian Armed Forces are preparing for May 26. A rehearsal of a ceremony to be dedicated to Independence Day was held at Freedom Square.

Colonel Aleksandre Kiknadze, Chief of Eastern Command of the Georgian Land Forces supervised the rehearsal.

The 288 recruits will participate in the oath-taking ceremony on May 26. Junkers of Davit Aghmashenebeli Defense Academy, National Guards, NATO Response Force and units of Georgian Defense Ministry will take part in the ceremony.

Military equipment and armament will be exhibited at Freedom Square. Similar activities will be held in Georgia’s 12 cities: Telavi, Marneuli, Rustavi, Mtskheta, Gori, Akhalkalaki, Kutaisi, Ambrolauri, Ozurgeti, Poti, Batumi and Senaki.
