Rehabilitation of Botanic Garden begins in Zugdidi

Rehabilitation works of Botanic Garden begin in Zugdidi town of western Samegrelo region. Administrative buildings will be repaired; water supply systems – replaced and infrastructure, pavements and artificial lake be arranged.

Work is ongoing to make the botanic garden a full-fledged member of the Association of European Parks. The cost of the project is 12 million GEL. The rehabilitation works are expected to be complete in August of 2019.
