Rain, snow to hit Georgia in coming days

The National Weather Agency forecasts periodic rain and snow in Georgia on March 22-26.

Weather forecasters also expect fog, snowstorms, and a 3-4 magnitude storm at sea.

Expected heavy rainfall may trigger a significant increase in water levels on the rivers, floods on small rivers in western Georgia, and the avalanche hazard, landslide processes in the mountainous areas, the agency reported.
