Protest rally at parliament

A group of citizens is holding a protest rally near the Parliament building. The protesters say that the Parliament of the 10th Convocation is illegitimate, and the government approved by it would not be legitimate. Protesters claim that they have brought forged protocols on the scene.

“We have stuck the forged protocols to helium balloons and will fly them after when this illegitimate parliament votes for confidence to this illegitimate government. We have spent tens of days in a tent, and this protest will continue until the government recognizes the election fraud. It is a shame to be a part of an illegitimate and single-party parliament, the parliament having no opposition”, – Nika Narsia, the member of the movement For Georgia, stated.

Georgian parliament will give a confidence vote to PM Giorgi Gakharia’s Cabinet and governmental program Building of a European State at the extraordinary session on Thursday.
