President meets with General Staff of Defense Forces

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili held her first meeting with the General Staff of the Georgian Defense Forces earlier this afternoon- Administration of President reported.

The meeting was attended by General-Major Vladimir Chachibaia, First Deputy Chief of Defense Forces Colonel Nikoloz Janjghava, Deputy Chief of Georgian Defense Forces and Chief of General Staff General Zaza Chkhaidze and Deputy Commander of Georgian Defence Forces Brigadier General Shalva Jabakhidze.

During the meeting, the participants touched upon the issues related to the Defense Forces of Georgia and the main challenges facing the Defense Forces. President Salome Zurabishvili and the General Staff of the Defense Forces set joint steps regarding future plans.
