President issued decree on temporary duty assignment

President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili issued a decree on the temporary assignment of duties to the government.

“In accordance with Article 73 paragraph I (d) and Article 80 paragraph III, the current composition of the Government will have to perform official duties until the appointment of a new composition of the Government”, – the decree of the President reads.

Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has resigned today. The authorities of all Ministers have been terminated as a result of PM’s resignation.
