President - Georgia needs strong support of international community and partners for de-occupation

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili talked about the occupied territories at the International Labor Conference held at the United Nations Office in Geneva.

President said that locals residing across the occupied regions were not able to use the benefits of achievements and progress; the situation was hard with respect to human rights and security, abductions and illegal detentions were frequent, ethnic Georgians were deprived of the right to receive education in Georgian language and the EUMM in Georgia had no right of free movement in the occupied regions from the Russian Federation.

“Georgia needs strong support of the international community and partners for de-occupation,” President Zurabishvili stated. The information about the speech delivered at the conference by Georgian President was released by Presidential Administration.
