Despite occupied territories, Georgia is a strong, democratic and independent country – President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili said at Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery.

“Georgia’s reality today is that the war did not defeat us, and despite occupied territories, Georgia is a strong, democratic and independent country. This can be confirmed by comments made today and yesterday by our international partners. They do not forget what happened and do not get used to it just as we do. We are moving forward successfully and do not give in to Russia, we are not bowing. Georgia was like that and it will always be so,” Salome Zurabishvili said.

Prime Minister, members of Cabinet of Minister, Chairman of Parliament, Majority MPs, Tbilisi Mayor and representatives of Diplomatic Corps visited Mukhatgverdi Brothers Cemetery on the 12th anniversary of Russia-Georgia war.
