Polish PM – EU has to offer real perspectives to neighbor countries

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Jakub Morawiecki said he believed that the European Union had to offer a real perspective to the neighbor countries otherwise others would do so. Polish PM made this statement in an inauguration speech in the Senate.

“We do not live in the epoch of safe domination of the West any longer. In Far East, near east and nearest east there are international players which will use the status of Europe with pleasure. That is why we want ambitious European Union, which is ready to accept new members. The European Union has to offer a real perspective to the neighbor countries otherwise others would do so – Russia, China, Turkey, radical Islam  . . . and this is already happening,” Morawiecki said.

Prime Minister of Poland also talked about NATO and described it as “the strongest military union in the history of the world.”
