Police arrest man for murdering Australian woman

Georgian Interior Ministry today arrested a Georgian citizen R.M. (DoB 1988) for murdering an Australian citizen Shanae Brooke Edwards.

The body of the woman, 31, was found dead on July 31 in Mtatsminda park in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

The Ministry is probing into the case under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging imprisonment for 7 to 15 years.
