The Multi-profile Clinic of Rukhi will become engaged in a struggle against the novel coronavirus. Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia became introduced with the equipping process of the clinic together with Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs Ekaterine Tikaradze.

Rukhi Clinic today was handed over artificial breathing devices and will be able to serve up to 100 patients. It will also have quarantine spaces.

“This clinic will have serious function. A lot of people are visiting the region from the territory beyond the occupational line. We will help every person residing on both sides of the so-called border line and every person will be provided medical assistance. We will do our best to protect health of locals residing across the occupational line,” PM said.

A dormitory will be built on the territory of Rukhi clinic for family members of patients. Parking lot and internal roads will be arranged. The project is financed from the state budget in the amount of 41 million GEL.
