PM says that evacuation of several families from the disaster zone may become necessary

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said that evacuation of several families from the disaster zone of Racha region may become necessary.

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia together with Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maia Tskitishvili arrived in Racha region, recently hit by the natural disaster, to become introduced with disaster elimination works.

According to Gakharia, many tourists are visiting Shovi resort of Racha region and the government will assist local hotels so that the guests do not face discomfort.

PM said that he would maintain constant contact with members of the emergency headquarters to eradicate the inflicted damage and related problems in a timely manner.
