PM assumes economy to reopen sooner

“The government will discuss how to start business reopening quickly, but safely and wisely at today’s session,” Georgian Prime Minister, Giorgi Gakharia, stated on Thursday.

PM noted, the current trend gives grounds for cautious optimism.

“We should start a discussion on lifting COVID-19 restrictions sooner if the trend continues for the coming week. It primarily applies to Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Rustavi. First of all, it refers to educational institutions to ensure the in-class study process for our children. It also includes the gradual resumption of the municipal transport”, Giorgi Gakharia stated.
