PM meets startup Pulsar AI's founders

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Economy Minister Natia Turnava met with the founders of the Georgian startup, Pulsar AI on Thursday. SpinCar, the global leader in digital automotive merchandising software and data, acquired Georgian startup Pulsar AI.

According to PM’s press service, the meeting discussed the success story of the Georgian startup. Garibashvili thanked the founders for the innovative project and wished them success.

The meeting underscored that the success of Pulsar is a clear example that Georgian startups are very competitive in the international market, and this precedent is a big motivation for those working in this field.

“It is an impressive success. Congratulations to the founders of Pulsar AI and the American company SpinCar, which acquired our local startup for tens of millions of dollars. We are twice proud because the startup Pulsar is a beneficiary of grants issued by the Innovation and Technology Agency in 2018-2019”, Economy Minister Natia Turnava stated after the meeting.

Michael Quigley, the co-founder of the digital platform, SpinCar, also joined the meeting virtually.

Pulsar AI is the first Georgian technology startup that helps dealers respond to their leads 24/7 with tailored answers, immediately qualify leads, schedule appointments, and increase ROI.  Pulsar AI has attracted USD1.2M investment in Silicon Valley in 2019. The startup was among the first to receive support from Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA).

Georgian startup Pulsar AI is the creator of the auto industry’s most advanced conversational AI platform. By combining Pulsar’s automated communication technology with SpinCar’s industry-leading digital merchandising offering, the company will expand its solution set to drive greater levels of online shopper engagement and lead conversion for auto retailers. The acquisition will enable SpinCar to extend its shopper data and digital content assets into additional dealer communication channels and customer touchpoints. Pulsar’s AI technology will be integrated into the SpinCar platform, and Pulsar’s 30 employees will become part of SpinCar’s expanded global Product, Operations and R&D organization.

Dachi Choladze and Zaal Gachechiladze began working together in 2016, developing AI technology for financial companies in Georgia. In 2019, Sopo Chkoidze joined the team, and together they founded Pulsar to create conversational AI technology for auto retailers.

Pulsar’s conversational AI platform leverages proprietary Machine Learning (ML) models, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) combined with Artificial Intelligence technology to engage online shoppers in personalized two-way conversations. The company’s technology increases the efficiency and effectiveness of dealership BDCs and Internet Sales operations by delivering an immediate, relevant and persistent follow-up to every online lead submission. Pulsar’s automated communication capability can respond to an unlimited number of shopper inquiries via email or text.
