I do not want to see only elite and prestigious schools in Georgia – Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said during the presentation of the education reform.

According to PM, all schools should be successful and of high standards in the country. He said that based on the reform, the priority will be a teacher’s place and social status.

Bakhtadze said that Georgian and foreign specialists, experts and international organizations were involved in the elaboration of the reform. “USAID, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank and other donors or international partners were involved in the process,” Bakhtadze said.

Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports is holding a presentation of the complex reform. The complex reform will be carried out in the education system that envisages many changes in general, professional and high education institutions as well as science sphere. Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze opened the activity.
