PM hopes for constructive part of opposition to make reasonable decisions

“I hope that the constructive part of the opposition will make reasonable decisions during these days,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said at a government session on Thursday.

According to him, the government is ready to continue the constructive dialogue to reach an agreement promptly.

“I hope that the constructive part of the opposition will make reasonable, essential for the state decisions these days. On our part, we reaffirm our readiness to continue the constructive dialogue and reach an agreement as soon as possible,” Irakli Gharibashvili said.

Prime Minister also summed up his visit to Brussels at the Cabinet meeting.

“We had a very successful visit to Brussels, have held high-level meetings in both the EU and NATO. We’ve heard how Vice President Borrell assessed the political situation of our country. We also heard how they assess the October election, considering it free, fair and competitive. Therefore, there is no ground to create a political crisis artificially. We also had a very successful visit to NATO. We summed up the progress made in recent years in the field of defence and security,” PM said.
