PM, Health Minister and CEC Chairperson to arrive in parliament

Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, Health Minister Davit Sergeenko and Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Tamar Zhvania will arrive in Parliament today and appear before the lawmakers in the format of an interpellation rule.

PM was summoned to the parliament by European Georgia faction to speak about banking regulations. Georgian Dream invited Health Minister to talk about social issues and medical services. National Movement faction wants CEC Chairman to speak about 2018 presidential polls and 2019 by-elections.

Giorgi Kakhiani, Chairman of the Committee on Procedural Issues, explained on May 30 that within the framework of interpellation, lawmakers will have the opportunity to ask questions to the governmental members in various directions. The addressee of the question is obliged to provide the answer at the plenary session.
