PM congratulates Jewish people on Passover

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili congratulated the Jewish people on Passover.

PM accentuated on century-long history and friendship with Jewish people and wished them peace and welfare.

“The day is a symbol of freedom and victory for this ancient nation. Resilience and endurance demonstrated for centuries, is a striking example to the nations fighting for freedom and deserves the utmost respect,” PM said.

Passover, also called Pesach or Pesakh is a ritual meal, the Pesach seder, that occurs the night of the paschal full moon after the 14th of Nisan, eve of the 15th, telling the story of the exodus, and remembering how the angel of death “passed over” the houses of the Israelites during the tenth plague on Egypt.
